***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

Not having any issues with YouTube I find the app is actually really good and I enjoy using it... Also it has an option in settings to load HQ videos all the time..

There is a hacked version of the official app over at xda forums which allows you to download the videos via the YouTube app itself.

To be fair I seemed to have the exact same issues he did with the official app. Mine would constantly not respond, forcing me to kill it, and a LOT of the times the video wouldn't even load, or like I said before it would only load on the very lowest quality, which is unwatchable.

I should mention that you won't find TubeMate on the play store, since Google don't allow Youtube apps on there. You'll have to go to tubemate.net I believe is the official site.

Hmm have either of you looked at the N4 sub forums at xda, what you're both describing sounds like a nightmare, not one I've experienced or heard of, I got one of the first lot so it's not like I've had a fix that you've missed, defo investigate further.

Annoying issue has cropped up over the last few days. Occasionally when I receive an incoming call the screen will not respond when I try to answer it. I have to turn the screen off and then back on again before I can answer the call. Anybody else experienced this?
Everything is stock by the way and the phone hasn't been rooted.

cheers,my iphone 4 is on its last legs so i might have to get a new phone and i am thinking nexus4 might be my best option.I dont fancy signing up to huge contracts to get iphone5

For the price yes very good, why? Software, the Nexus phones will receive the newest versions of Android quicker than any other OEM phones. It's still fast, and works well. Only downside for me is the camera, other than that it's a top notch phone.

hoping i get my nexus on monday,i might get 3 sim with the unlimited net and tethering for £25 a month, is there any other alternatives or is that the only company that offer all you can eat data and tethering

Errr that is pricey. You may as well get a handset on that amount a month. I pay £10 for Vodafone 600mins 2gb data and unlimited text. You only need a tethering deal with Iphones Proiverders can't tell on android.

I tether with voda and my wife tethers with o2. Neither have that on the package.

I do three and get it for £12.90 a month, unlimited data. Tethering is an additional £5 (but I see what you mean re not being able to tell - hmmm that is tempting :) )

Whichever deal you go for do it for quidco as the cashback bonuses are quite nice

ah right , i just thought they could spot if your tething because it says its a breach in T&C i might just get something like around £15 then and unlimited data ;)
