With it being the Switch and emphasis on going from home console to handheld I doubt they would do that.

However they did do the lite. But a home only one would change the form factor too much I think.

Would be good to have a no screen model just for home use and then a lcd/oled model for portable use. Screen serves no purpose to me so it would be nice to have a cheaper device and also without a screen I wouldn't have to worry about damaging it

I agree. I only ever use it in docked mode as well so if I could save money with a model that didn't have a screen it would be great.

I am surprised they never done this with the original switch in the last year of it life, have a budget model bundled with a game.
