So your 920 has actually been sent out to you?
Damn my outrageous completely unjustifiable colour prejudices as I just couldn't bring myself to get a yellow phone
It isn't so.
How do they not have a matching address?...I only imputed in one addy, read again the last bit as I edited.
Should You Buy It?
It kills me to say this, because I wanted to own this instead of an iPhone 5, but no. No you shouldn't. It's too big and heavy. It's not fun to own. It's not enjoyable to use. If you want a Windows Phone, check out the very good HTC 8X. But this? No, not this.
It's just too heavy. Inexcusably heavy. Way, way too heavy to recommend to anyone.
It's just as galling every time you take it out of your pocket—stretched within a micron of its life.
Give me something to read while I constantly hit F5 on the 'availibility in Germany' thread over on wpc
Interesting, so maybe it comes down to the SIM lock? Or something else.
Where'd you get the firmware from Andy? Can't find anything on Nokia website.
Andy, I think I remember you saying you've ordered a yellow one, is there any sign of when they are getting that colour in as I want it too. Can I ask any cyberport buyers how much the shipping cost is please and finally apart from needing a euro adaptor will anything else be different e.g will it have a 2 year warranty?
I know, edited my post. Doesn't that mean it should be really easy to flash and unlock it?
Thanks Andy I think I'm going to be making friends with ze Germans!
So since there is a variant for each of the firmware revisions we can at least assume that EE were not happy with the software and thus the delay?
Hi Andy, I'm not very familiar with the world of firmware and sim locking etc, but does this mean you think it's possible to relatively easily unlock a EE lumia 920 from say P4U to work with any network? Thanks
