Worked for me too, installed and tested. Got no where near those speeds though Andy. What was your connection?

Anyone else get an audio update today/yesterday... and actually understood what it updated?

Its just normal Vodafone 3G around the Holborn area.

Guys,

Phone has developed a weird issue...when I'm actually on the phone, the screen turns itself on and off rapidly, same if I've got a call incoming, making it almost impossible to answer the phone...note this does not happen all the time.

I'm beginning to think the sensor to turn the screen off is a bit dodgy...has anyone else has this?

Doesn't sound right. How long have you had the device? See if you can get it replaced.

I did read about some similar problems some users experienced with the Portico, but the fix was something silly. Ill see if I can find it.

I've been running Portico since Xmas.

EDIT. Looks like there is a new firmware revision out now, as its gone from 1003 to 1004.

Right guys my old 920 had firmware 1231.2110.1244.3011 before I sent it off to Nokia for repair.
Nokia couldn't fix it and sent me a replacement yesterday. The firmware on the replacement is 1232.5951.1249.1017
Does that mean it is the Portico firmware?

Looks like the portico build number, mines 1232.5951.1249.1004 (sim free UK) is yours a EE handset?

Yeah it is an EE handset.
Getting it unlocked though as I am with Vodafone

That's pre Portico firmware, you should be receiving a update shortly. Looking at that firmware it looks like a EE handset, which should be upgraded to 1232.5951.1249.1017.

I am guessing the first week of Feb judging by what I have read.

I have downloaded both of them without a problem, I did use the QR code from WP Central though.

Oh, another thing. Since the update I'm also seeing a 3G+ as my data connection... pretty sure that wasn't there before? Has that replaced something else?

I have noticed that as well, also H+ in some places.
