Vodafone - Windows Phone - Feb 6th

Windows Phone 8 is nearly here. Since announcing that we’d be stocking the phones in a post late last year, we’ve been working day and night to get the new breed of Windows Phone devices through our network tests unscathed. Now that work’s come to an end, and we’re almost ready to get all five of our Windows Phone 8 handsets into stores and into your hands.

The Nokia Lumia 920, 820 and 620, as well as the Windows Phone 8X and 8S by HTC, make up our new Windows Phone 8 army, and they’ll all be available to buy from Wednesday, 6th February.

My battery last 3/4 days if i dont use it but soon as it starts being used probably last 8 hours at the most i have the battery saver option on all the time.

I have:-

Location off
Brightness Low
Tap+Send off
background tasks all blocked

When the portico update going to be available on three taking its time?

What is your current firmware build number?

This is one of the apps i've been waiting for. Mobile banking is no fun on a browser.

I have not had any problems with the Barclays online banking in a web browser.

I am just waiting for the Barclays & Sky Go apps at the moment.

Is the Sky Go app confirmed?

Nothings been confirmed at the mo, its more like wishful thinking.

I do hope Sky change there mind though, WP8 does seem to attracting more and more apps now.

Its coming soon, last time I looked. That's better than the reply I had from Barclay's when I tweeted them.

Has anyone contacted Nokia about it yet? Does Elliot have any idea's?

All I want now is a decent live tile that shows me the weather, preferably with a clock on it ala the HTC Sense front end would be really nice...

I use "The Weather Channel" app found under the Nokia collection.

Just saw an update to whatsapp - while downloading, notification for firmware update. Unlocked 920, btw.

I had a few updates for WhatsApp, TV Catchup, Snes8X and a few others last night.

Tried Nokia Drive for the first time yesterday as a bit of an emergency. Was really impressed. Does anyone use this as their full blown sat nav?

Yup, I have used it a number of times now and I am very impressed with it.

It's even better now Nokia have released a wireless charging dock.
