It really isnt a great picture, taking everything into account, MS are ballsing this whole thing up. It really feels like the WP is a pure after thought to have something on the market, it has the look they have one small room of people working on it.

Turns out theyre blimmin weak phones.. Just dropped mine on its edge - screens cracked and casings come off.. Certainly not built as well as i'd expected or hoped ! £500 quids worth my arris !

I dropped my iphone 4 numerous times, i strapped it to my rc car and used it to record video and rolled it - fine.. Maybe i was just real unlucky with the angle.

I'm slightly hummed about the fact I cant replace it from insurance and upgrade in the process either, i really dont want to go back to the plasticky tat that is the 920!

As above can happen to any smart phone, it all depends on the angle. I smashed my iPhone with it straight on the back. Sides and especially corners are the weak areas.

I didn't want to start a new thread and thought this would be as good as any to post in.

Paul Thurrott has finished his Windows Phone 8 book, and it's pretty good. It's probably the closest thing to kicking Windows Phone's tyres without actually using one for anybody who might be thinking of buying.

Thanks for the heads up!

It looks like it should be an interesting read too... all 647 pages of it!

Nah I'm a Vodafone ;) 820 had it for a while now, but not too long.

Ahh, the 820 maybe different then. I know the simfree handsets (920) and the other handsets excluding EE ones didn't have 4G enabled. As firehawk in this thread as a good example.

Can anyone tell me, why on some YouTube vids I see the WP8 app list (swipe from home screen) they are separated by a tile that has the letter of that section, so there would be a tile with the letter E and then all apps starting with E follow it etc... But my 920 has them all in one long list and not separated, can this be changed?
