Andy,

Is it down to the firmware or the sim for getting updates? If its the sim could i just whack in a VF sim to update?

Lol back to you, I'm not customer services... If I was, do you really think I'd be here?

I'm just here offering my knowledge and friendly advice for Nokia WP users and all you do is keep coming out with the same stuff over and over and over again. You're obviously not listening.

"My phone isn't 4G" -> Not Nokia's fault, not your fault. Clove sold you the wrong phone. Which you refused to send back and get a refund on. So no one else's problem but yours.

"When is the update coming?" -> Soon. Do you really think I'd be allowed to give you the specific date and time of when it is coming?

"Why don't we have it yet? Nokia is taking too long" -> If it were up to me, the update would already be out. There is a whole process of operator testing it has to go through first. Until this has been completed, blame the operators. If you knew the processes and how it all works, you'd understand, but you don't.

Change of record now, please?

not until you listen to customers like me and not put words in our mouths :) its simple really.
hey mate im not here to "cause a riff" - just being honest and saying how it is. any other customer would who actually see it through.

I'm not quite sure what you're on about 'putting words in our mouths'. You're still not listening. If anything, you're putting words in Nokia's mouths saying that they've done something wrong, when they clearly haven't :)

Oh well, some people just can't be helped. I'm done talking to you now.

suits me just fine ;)
my point again... nice service from Nokia when they know they have done something wrong and trying to place blame on others but themselves..

You're on EE so just flash an EE ROM to be honest then the 4G will work. To be honest I think it's mad you got the EE SIM only deal knowing the unlocked 920s don't have LTE enabled :p

ha. not really my friend:

1) they didnt have the color I wanted
2) you would have been tied to using only EE. what if I wanted to go with a different provider? But really since I do travel abroad a fair bit for business, I would rather use the local sim card to make cheaper local calls than paying international costs or for people to call me costing them and me a ton of money!

Well ... if that's an official Vodafone ROM, then the other operators can't be far behind. Is that correct Elliot? I'm on TMUK so I'll guess I'll get an EE update?

Correct. They're all fairly close. The way to tell if you get EE firmware is go to settings -> about and see what it says under 'carrier'.

EDIT: The way that is being done is by downloading and flashing the firmware to the device. The OTA update is a separate process and takes a little longer.
