Yea I've had that sent to be a few times, I think its so ig gives the one getting the message the option to get the image or not.
 
Cheers, thought I'd messed up the MMS settings.

And if anyone is wondering why I didn't just get t-mobile to send a network settings SMS, they don't work on Windows Phone!!!
 
I didn't have Access Points in settings on my T-mobile phone, had to grab it from the store, seems to have worked. I was just a bit confused about the sms issue and thought I messed it up.
 
Got it the first day it came out, fantastic phone, although I will admit I didn't like the tiles for the first 3 days, now I love them.

One thing that's made it better since my disastrous hard reset was getting rid of about 50% of the apps on my homescreen, with less apps it just feels ... *better*.

I just try to keep apps down to one screen personally, thats why I want the ability for the OS to realise that you only have one screen and then disable the bounce/scroll from that screen as its not needed..
 
I ive got a 520 but as this thread is busier, the up volume rocker seems to off died. Before I take it back to CPW, there's no settings or anything to disable it or anything is there?

How are you finding that phone?

My missus is looking to upgrade her Lumia 800 and budget restricts, the 520 seems to be best till she upgrades next year. (Tesco currently accepts £90 for the Lumia 800!)

I know the 512mb RAM restricts a lot of high end games... you noticed much?
 
It's brilliant. Only seen monopoly that requires 1gb of ram, but then I'm not a mobile game player.
Just as good as iphone4 which is what I had before and for the price unbeatable.
Which we couldn't skygo app but that's never going to happen, or at least in the foseable future.

And of course, bigger battery. I did buy a bigger battery but doesn't seem to utilise it.i unusually get around 23-24hrs out oof it, but I just don't get why they include such a small battery and/or why a bigger battery doesn't seem to work.

the 512mb is not a problem. I can't see the point in playing 'high end' games on a phone anyhow. There's plenty of choice in the game store, she/he will not notice a few games not running? I love playing video games on my PC. I have a 620, same ram.
