** The Official Nvidia GeForce 'Pascal' Thread - for general gossip and discussions **

No but the likelihood is that the money you save with purchasing non founders edition cards will completely pay for your waterblocks, so that added expense can be written off. Why would you voluntarily hand over +£100 (3 times apparently) for products that perform exactly the same as ones from the add in board partners arriving within the next 2-3 weeks?

I agree totally! IF they are arriving in the next 2-3 weeks then I might wait, my concideration here is unknown time + not knowing cost/release info x shiny!

:)

Cheers
Ben

I've just watched a few minutes, not a single stutter.
Any stutter you did see might be the streaming system or the player.

I see it every 10 seconds or so. May this why some people do not have issues with SLI and some do or maybe I just need a new graphics card. lol.

I hear easyrider is loaded, maybe he would care to help out a poor old commoner? :p

Looks sexy as fudge BUT no way am I paying £620 for what will be essentially mid range/highend GPU if you take into account there will most likely be a Ti and a Titan they can jog on.
If I hadn't sold my TX's the other week for good money I'd want blood! Luckily I did. Imagine if you bought a new Titan X 2 days ago because up until today the Nvidia site said it was the best/Top card they had then this comes out at £200 cheaper.

This is double gouging. Firstly Nvidia adding their ridiculous "FE" tax then retailers adding a wee bit on top for good measure (as they are entitled to do).

The real villains are Nvidia. The card should be $599 across the board which would probably translate to a ~£520 price point over here. Still overpriced, but nowhere near to the level it is currently.

i would'nt call Nvidia villains, sad truth is that they can charge premium prices because of AMDs continued failure to compete at the top table.

Until AMD get their act together, Nvidia will continue to do what any other overly dominant company does and charge a premium for their products

Running sweet as a nut here. What GPU are you watching it on? :p

Looks smooth to me too, wonder what Res it being played at though? strange how they have all the CPU Stats on display... but nothing to do with the gpu like you normally would, Core clock, temp etc.

Fan seems locked at 2800rpm so i'd imagine it's flat out.

8800 GTX Ultra :p

Ohhh dear lol :D

Agreed and it looks like they are hiding stuff by not showing those basic things. I would want to see what temps it is at and what the core is as a minimum.
