I thought i would see if there would be any interest in an OCUK household hints and tips thread. so here are two to get you started.




Save money from buying expensive contact lenses only to thrown them away. Why not cut out two 5p size pieces of clingfilm and put them on your eyes instead? remarkable!!




Coughing on an ice cube you accidentally swallowed while having that cooling drink during our heatwave? simply pour an entire kettle of boiling water down your throat, and blockage removed! voila!






i would never advocate pouring boiling water down your throat, or near anyones person

Not the best advice ever, I don't think either of those would work particularly well.

Unless of course the thread was meant as a joke. I would have expected it to be funny in that case though.

I think it was meant in the Viz top tips tradition unless I'm very much mistaken.

If you are thirsty try drinking a glass of water or lemonade.

eeer when house is dirty, clean it ? (you would be amazed at the amount of people who carnt figure this one out )

Instead of buying a new carpet, simply grow your own by covering the old one entirely with mustard and leaving overnight. (May require trimming)
