***The Official OcUK Lego Thread***

Not really too bothered about minifigs, blasphemous I know but the collection/trading markup is too small and I much prefer a nice big build :)

I guess if the lair is the only set you can get him in it will help it hold its value, but just checked it out online and it doesn't look too appealing other than the huge lord business.

Just watched a review of the spaceship (SPACESHIP!)... OMG I should have bought that today!! Looks so much fun!

It was approved last year and has been designed into an official set. Peter Reid designed it (check out his Lego Space: Building the Future book, its awesome) and was in the Bluewater Lego store last week signing boxes that were on early release. The official launch is 1st August, and Lego stores have stock in, but your right, there seems to be little info about it online. There's a place holder on the US Lego store website, but I can't find it at all on the UK store?

Just been reading on brickset and they reckon the Exo-suit will sell out very quick.

Just placed an order for mine.
 
Exo Suit was in the lego store in Westfields Stratford last weekend, would've picked one up but I had too much month left at the end of the money :P

Edit: Err.... Just realised I still haven't had a confirmation email...... :/

Logged on this morning to buy the Exo Suit and then decided to wait until i got to work so i could used quidco... got to work and its sold out! :(

Ordered on back order... hopefully ships before 4th Sept.

Also LEGO have now placed a replacement order for my lost Mini Cooper, kind of hoping the other one turns up as well at some point!

Any time I've ordered off the store confirmation emails and account tracking have always taken ages. For such a large company, their website is actually pretty poor in terms of it's backend system I think.

Personally think the Research Lab set is very meh, not interested in the slightest.

Its priced accordingly though, at only £16.

I am a bit confused as to why they would have a big release for the Exo Suit and then just bung out the Research Institute without any fanfair at all.

But speaking of Lego Ideas, WALL-E has smashed through 10,000 supporters so is now up for review, and I have just added my support to the Moon Landing idea too.
