Saving mine for after I get back from Cornwall. Looked at box contents yesterday. So many bags. The instruction manual feels like it weighs a Kg!

I think I've counted 67 main bags but including bags within I'm at 80 so far!

So many bags! Seems like could have put fewer big bags in! I think I'm going to try and mix abou 10-20 bags at time. More rummaging the better imo!
Can't brave all of them at once!

I recently built the UCS 2017 snowspeeder, and all the bags were numbered, and each stage matched the bag number. I felt it ruined it for me. I should have just emptied all the contents into a pile and looked for the pieces, as honestly, looking for the bits in a large pile is something I tend to like.

After all, once built the bags become useless anyhow. I'm getting the BB8 UCS today I think - looks a decent set.

I don't think bb8 is classed as ucs. True, I don't know exactly what makes it ucs. It is a great model. One of my favs. (the mechanism. Oh the mechanism)
Yeah bag by bag means you can race through the build. With bb8 I emptied all the bags into a box and was it prolonged the fun.

I tend to class anything that has a black base and name plate as UCS : - ) but no its maybe not true UCS, but it will look nice against my UCS R2D2. And I'll throw all the parts into a box and prolong the build. Best way.

I don't have R2 ucs. I've seen pic of them together and looks great.

OK, bit weird. I'm selling my Porsche 911 GT3RS and someone has asked me to build it for them rather than doing it themselves. Seems a little strange as half the fun is in the building IMO.

Maybe some kinky fetish of the buyer? :D have they asked if they can watch? ;)

On a serious note, the could be messing you around? Build it then them end up not buying it? God knows! I guess if you do make a deal maybe take full payment or a deposit first I guess.

How difficult was the F40? It would be my first since I was a measly teenager :D

F40 is relatively easy. A couple of fiddly steps but relatively straightforward.

It is a bit strange but he says he wants to display it. Bloody typical, now he wants to trade it for some crappy mountain bike. Has been told to jog on.
