Super Star Destroyer has now landed in its new home on the shelf, and well pleased with how it looks. Really is an impressive model.

https://www.ultimatecollectorstickers.co.uk/ is also proving very useful for 8 x 16 UCS sticker plates and stickers for the the ones Lego supplied as 6 x 12 etc... Makes it look more uniformed.

I bet that took some balancing to get in there:D.

I am so tempted to get the Lepin death star 2!

you'll never find an official Lego version for anywhere near a reasonable price - even built and unboxed they fetch a pretty good price. The model is a lot of plates and mostly common parts so even if the set is missing anything from Lepin, you can brick link the missing, and for the price of the Lepin one, yeah, I'd be tempted as well.

I have the Death Star II to build, I got mine back when they were RRP from Lego, I built it once, and then it went into the box again, but I'm going to build it again. I also have the UCS Naboo Star Fighter set, its only 167 parts but the Chrome parts makes the set extremely valuable - as those parts aren't so common.

I still think a mix of Lepin and Lego is perfectly fine - provided you can't get the set from Lego anymore.

A couple of my downstairs collection.

Finally picked up the Saturn last night as well.
Also saw the fully built UCS MF in person. WOW

Only at stage one on the falcon! I have 90pc of mine in living room too. Like that they aren't tucked away in a room

The modulars are a great conversation starter when we have visitors. Some people are fascinated, some think its weird.

I have a lot of city sets built but in boxes in a wardrobe. I will be drip feeding these to my 4 year old daughter who is already building sets by herself. In a recent sale, I also bought her the Simpsons house, but she has no idea we have it yet. I think it will make a great dolls house :D

All my Star Wars stuff is upstairs, with many unopened sets under the bed, including The Death Star. I really want to get started on it, but nowhere to put it yet.

Must have a lot or space under your bed to fit boxes the size of the death star II - I have that set and the box is huge... I've also got my nearly 6 year old daughter into Lego building. Much to the bemusement of her mother. And why would any think your Lego is weird lol I have since made a whole space in my living room to proudly display my Lego UCS star wars - displayed with pride

I bought a king size ottoman divan base bed. The storage space is epic. It was originally for spare bedding/pillows etc. Its now exclusively for unopened Lego boxes. :D

Has anyone been to one of the Brick Live events? I'm considering going to the event being hosted at the Birmingham NEC.
