Anyone figured out how to stream to PS4 from PC? Got a bunch of films on my PC (Downstairs) i'd like to watch in my bedroom TV which is hooked up to PS4.

They need to hurry up and release more games too... finding myself not playing the ps4 a whole lot compared to my PS3

You can't stream or play your own movies at the moment :(
 
Thanks for confirming mate, thought it was just me being daft. I hope they fix this though, PS3 could handle it why not this :/

Im glad they finally fixed the camera mic though. Playing online it would act as a mic and so give everyone in lobby awful feedback. Can finally mute the thing and not have to use headset to override it (For them times you don't want to speak).

I believe it launched with yakuza. and dynasty warriors Over there. And sales haven't been that bad. It hasn't sold out in stores, like it did over here. I can only imagine that's what people are basing their "bit of a let down" comments on?
 
Id be unhappy if I was Japanese, Sony said they delayed the Japan lauch to ensure Japan-centric games would be ready yet brought nothing themselves at launch. What were SCEJ thinking - October pre-orders selling out must made them over-confident of success...

Does anyone notice when you turn on the ps4, screen is blank (black) for at least a minute before you get ps4 homescreen? Controller and console lights suggest ps4 is active but black screen for a substantial time everytime i turn it on. Kind of annoying!

You can set up a web server and stream them using that. And use the browser to view. Not sure of the quality though.

nope, mine comes on almost instantly.

i'm using a hybrid drive though.

Nope. Mine starts up at least as quickly as the PS3. And mine is factory - no SSDs or hybrid dark magics. Might I suggest you have a faulty console?

i was usually setting up my loadouts before deploying.

today i have been spawning first regularly in fact on maps like metro i have gotten to the middle of the map to spam grenades before anyone else has gotten close to ensure dominance is maintained on that map.

now i have my loadouts set up i can usually grab a tank at the start right away.

it's definitely a huge improvement over stock drive.

the 8GB nand flash is used as a cache for regularly accessed files so the more i play BF4 the quicker the maps should load as it moves them all to the flash memory.

My PS4 logo appears within 5-15 secs after being turned on. Definitely not near 1min

I'd check your HDMI cable, it must be some sort of handshake issue?
