Not sure I’d ever see the need for a 4TB drive. My 2tb one never even gets remotely full along with the existing 2tb on the pro.

Unless the price difference between the 2tb and the 4TB is completely negligible then I’d consider a cheaper smaller option.
Agreed. I've got a 1TB in my PS5 and that's still plenty, if you've got a fast internet connection downloading a game you might suddenly want to play becomes fairly trivial anyway.

The Skillup 6 hours hands on preview was a decent watch. Hard to come to the conclusion if its any good or not. He seemed to like it without being blown away. Bit wierd how you see him flying a dragon, then being in some sort of mech unit shooting guns and missiles, then being in a sort of black bag of feathers while flying.

I'll be giving it a miss I think. Still loving Arc Raiders, have Toxic Commandos tomorrow and will be getting 007 First Light which is more than enough for me before the entire world stops on 19th November.

Aye, I've never opted for mid-gen upgrades when it comes to minor improvements. However, I did purchase the Pro when it was released. The cost was offset by a 20% discount from Very and selling my base console. Yes, only a few games have shown significant quality improvements with 60 FPS. But considering that the PS6 is now expected to launch in '28 or even '29, it seems like a sensible decision.

I've given up on PC gaming; it's far too costly.
So it came, and whilst I wouldn't say it's a night and day difference.. it's been substantial enough for me to not regret the upgrade. Worth it alone for Gran Turismo 7 which looks and runs incredible on this thing. I'm now debating upgrading my monitor on my sim rig so it's 4k OLED too haha.

I totally agree about your point on PC Gaming, my current rig is really struggling with Resident Evil Requiem at low settings so I've double-dipped and got it on the PS5 too but when I look at pre-built PCs, for any decent build it's literal thousands now and it's really hard to justify spending that when Consoles are as they are.

Can't see much coming of it. Whilst I think the whole 'closed garden' of these platforms stores isn't fantastic, there's no chance they refund 162 quid to anyone who bought a game in the last 10 years on the PS Store...!

I just wish we'd see digital games be cheaper than physical ones.
Apple lost a similar case last year and are facing damages of up to £1.5 billion, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility this lawsuit could succeed. A precedent has been set.

Forcing 3rd party stores on psn does seem a bit much, although it would be interesting to see the response of the consoles users who used to pop up in EGS threads saying "it's just another launcher" if it happened. Would they stick to their guns or would it be the end of the world.

Blocking keys being sold on 3rd party sites is scummy though, no need for that, I would like to see those come back.
