Can you guess what the game was :D

It was star wars jedi order

Yeah, I did not enjoy that game. The old Star Wars games were a lot for fun, gameplay wise anyways.

I want a proper RPG Star Wars, where you start as a padiwan and level up.

I had the same feeling with Uncharted 4, it was pretty to look at but that was about it.
I enjoyed the first 2 Uncharted games but then it got a bit boring after going two of the games.

I'm not a fan of The Last of Us either, I really struggled to get on with the gameplay... as I was playing through the first few hours I kept feeling like it would have made a much better movie than a game. I gave up after a while because I just couldn't enjoy it.

The Last of Us I did enjoy, but that was probably as you say more for the story. I have zero interest in the sequel that just came out though.

Did you miss the locked 30fps part?

I love high framerate as much as anyone but the best gaming experiences I've had in the last 5+ years have came from Uncharted 4, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5 Royal, Final Fantasy Remake, Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart, Bloodborne, Spiderman, Zelda BOTW and a few others I fail to remember. All of which can probably run WAY better on my pc.. but they can't.

I basically just sat on my sofa, cracked open a beer and enjoyed every one of them from start to finish.

My PC satisfies my Dota 2 addiction and not much else.

People feel so passionately about framerates they stubbornly ignore epic games because they aren't on their PC.

I'm in agreement that frame rate isn't a huge factor in a lot of games. Mario Kart is actually a 60fps game though from your list and maybe Oddysey too.
Persona works fine at 30 due to the nature of the game. Botw however I struggled to play but when I played on my PC at 60fps I enjoyed it to the point I actually managed to play through it.
The witcher 3 is another example of a game that I enjoyed with a better framerate, it felt awful to me on PS4. I think HZD will also be a lot better experience on PC.
Haven't really played the others enough but to summarize, I agree fps isn't everything but in certain titles it's the difference between me enjoying it or not.

You can play Mario Kart, Odyssey and BOTW on PC ;) FF7 remake is only a timed exclusive, isn't it? HZD is also out in 'summer'.

I played BOTW on pc and it was better but I'd already finished it on Switch so wasn't interested in replaying. Mario kart and odyssey are probably 60 fps but I think my point is I just enjoyed all them console games without giving a crap about framerates at the time.

Final fantasy I completed and loved. Horizon the same. They will come to pc but I'm already done with them.

My pc doesn't reside in the living room with my 4k TV and atmos setup. At times it has been used there but its just a ball ache dragging it up and down and I'm not wanting to run an hdmi cable across my house. This is where I find the consoles to just be better for pick up and play.

Think I just get triggered when people come into console threads and harp on about how superior pcs are because they do higher framerates. It's kinda stating the obvious. High end gpus cost 2-3 times the entire hardware cost of a console. I'd be seriously peeved if they didn't.

How's that work with phone Bluetooth headset, is the limit mono? (not sure how many channels that headset shown is).

Pretty much, it’s not mono but super low bitrate I think. If you listen carefully during a call you’ll notice it, during normal music playback it will switch to APTx which is pretty good but still has a lot of latency and no bandwidth left for a mic.

Oh yeah I wasn't digging at you. Just meant generally when people are trying to find 'advantages' of console over PC you can guarantee you'll see playing on the couch as as a purported advantage as if it's not possible on PC.
I mean my 2060 can do 4k and that cost like 280 quid. Albeit at 30fps and not on ultra high.

Anyway, my initial comment about fps was in response to Nvidia bricking it over new consoles, can't see it happening.

Hoping to see some actual launch titles for ps5 soon. I'm secretly hoping for something to actually 'force' me to buy one.

I thought you lot would appreciate this. ;)

Remember they're asian so probably about 4 ft tall:p (no doubt that will offend someone:D). I'm just concerned whites going to look weird considering 99% of electronics are black.

I'm wondering what the official line will be from Sony regarding buying cross gen games on PS4 and PS5? It would be nice to know that if you buy a game on PS4 you'll automatically be able to run both the PS4 and PS5 version of the game of you decide to upgrade your system?

Have Sony said anything about this topic?
