That would aggravate me though. I would always want the best version possible (excluding PC).
Do you have an Xbox One X?

My issue with getting the PS5 at launch is the lack of a 'console seller'.

No, I never bothered as I barely used my OG Xbone and gave it away.
Next time why don't you try all caps to compliment you bold, underlined, italicized extra large font![]()
Cant believe what im about to say as a pc master race but i think with the likes of last of us 2 and ps5 games i think they have beaten anything pc games can throw at them. Its just down to pc developers not spending the money to make the stunning games for them as the money aint there.
Think I’ve made my mind up to get a PS5.
A 3080Ti will cost me around £1300 (maybe more), plus if I wanted to play in 4K (anything less would be pointless), I would need to upgrade my monitor. A decent 27inch 4K monitor is still around £800, so that would be nearly £2.5k!
In my room, I also have a TV setup of a 55 inch upper range HDR1500 Samsung QLED (Q85R), with a great Samsung soundbar Atmos system.
So £2500 for maximum 4K on a 27 inch screen or £500 on 55 inch 4K gaming with much better HDR, but slightly lower settings and FPS.
I think it makes sense to stick with my current card and 1440p gaming, and get a PS5 for 55 inch 4K gaming.
It's common knowledge that developers cater to the lowest common denominator, which is the console market. Raw performance isn't the be-all!
Try playing The Division 2 on the controller for a console with 30fps. No thanks. It's awful as you get rushers let alone trying to do headshots. Let alone fast 180s as they rush you from behind.

The inclusion of motion sensors gives the DualSense a massive advantage, since gyro-aiming is objectively superior, and is closer to a mouse in terms of precision.
The fact Sony demonstrated it speaks volumes. The Nintendo Switch has popularised the feature, it's often requested in most titles. It worked beautifully in Days Gone and Dreams on the PS4 also.
If you think it's a gimmick, I urge you to watch the following:

Demonstrated it with what? I thought the motion sensors were just a compatibility inclusion for the SIXAXIS feature? It's barely used in any games.
Demand for gyro-aiming support has become increasingly prevelant in the PlayStation community, and it's no small surprise that Sony acknowledged motion sensors in the DualSense trailer. I agree that it was sorely underused during the last generation, but that's liable to change.
But why call it motion sensors and not gyro aiming? It just sounds like "shake the controller" to perform such-and-such all over again. I'm interested to try it out for myself. If Days Gone is the only title, then I haven't got round to buying that yet.
I strongly suggest you watch the following:
