The game moved me like no other. Honestly. Fantastic piece of writing. Regardless of what other people may think.
Edit. Actually, RDR2 was also pretty moving. Not as much as the rollercoaster of tlou2 though.
Indeed. I wholeheartedly agree. Possibly the two best games ever made. With regards to story. I don’t understand where Simon is coming from. Like…I don’t think I’ve played anything so visceral and raw before. The second game was emotionally draining by the credits. I left it six months or so before playing again with the silenced SMG and infinite explosive ammo for the bowAgreed. TLOU1&2 are gaming experiences that will live with me forever. Incredible games.
God of War,
Still not played the second, didn't they go all preachy with the story or something?Agreed. TLOU1&2 are gaming experiences that will live with me forever. Incredible games.
Not really. Play it, and judge for yourself.Still not played the second, didn't they go all preachy with the story or something?
If you like feel good games don't play it.Still not played the second, didn't they go all preachy with the story or something?
No they just pooped on fans of the first gameStill not played the second, didn't they go all preachy with the story or something?
No, they didn’t.
I liked him a lot. Doesn’t change anything though. It’s a story and a very good one. The time and place they are living is not Disneyland.Well it kind of depends if you liked a certain character... To some that person was their favourite.
So changing a character who was weary of strangers to letting his guard down made sense? No, they didn’t.
I thunk the point was that being with her made him more accepting of strangers and he wanted to be part of the community. If you think about the ending of the first one, he did that because he cared, otherwise he'd have just left. You can tell throughout the game he's going more attached to her.So changing a character who was weary of strangers to letting his guard down made sense?
No it didnt it was poor writing and a poor attempt to shock you
I mean..they were being chased by infected. They didn’t really have much choice but to cooperate with each other. By the time it all settled down it was already too late, they were essentially trapped. So changing a character who was weary of strangers to letting his guard down made sense?

They were being chased? Oh right missus must have been talking and distracted me. I'll replay it later when I need something boring to help me sleepI mean..they were being chased by infected.
