Anyone have experience with EGlobal?
Yes, I got my Redmi Note 5 global version from them, they are based in Hong Kong and ship via UPS or DPD with no customs charge, mine arrived in 5 days via UPS.

Also, their other site is Tobydeals and has the Poco F1 cheaper than their main site.

I was literally typing a reply to suggest Tobydeals as well (https://www.tobydeals.co.uk/en_GB/catalogsearch/result/?q=Poco+F1), my only concern is i've never tried them before and there's a weird thing about shipping insurance for deliveries which has my alarm bells ringing.

I had no idea it was run by the same company. But £258 for the base model is pretty damn good price even if adding £20 for shipping/insurance (https://www.tobydeals.co.uk/en_GB/shipping/)

When I ordered my Redmi Note 5 from eGlobal, I just went with the free economy express shipping instead of the extra £8 for insured as I believe the shipping insurance is to cover themselves. Just pay via Paypal or credit card for protection in case it is lost or damaged.

Notch, Nuff said.

Don't buy with a notch & they will stop making them with a notch.

What exactly is it that bothers you about the notch? Never had a phone with one so it's a genuine question (ie. not trying to start a debate!!)

To me they just look like they give more screen space and if you don't like it, don't most phones give you the option to "fill in" the edges so its not visible anyway?

I ordered A1 from eglobal few months ago, arrived as promised and no issues. Support-wise it's probably no rainforest, if things go south, but for 25% off I can live with that.

wish they made Android One version of Poco, one thing that puts me off Xiaomi with MIUI is SW and updates.
