Well We dont really have a choice on the version that the UK will be getting. so i will have to make do with the Samsung chipset its really quite good really.
This might answer a few question about chipsets and the like, remember one phone is running "froyo and the other gingerbread. one is pre release etc etc.

Well we all know HTC will be flagging their Sensation offering. But i'll still take the Samsung over the Sensation.

Mostly depends where Andriod is in 2 yrs. Will your hardware be able to run it. But the 8MP camera and expandable storage should mean you'll be able to do most things phones in 2 yrs will be doing.
Windows Mobile devices were always underpowered. When the hardware finally caught up MS released the locked down Windows Phone
Remember this phone should have better power consumption.
