I read that the phone has face recognition unlocking... isn't that a bit flawed because someone could just hold up a photo of my face

There will be a back up feature if the face recognition fails.

Well this looks like good news "The standard 1,650 mAh battery took us through two days of use – from off the charger at 7am, through a full day with push email active, the display at maximum backlight while outdoors, lots of photography and some video recording, a couple of YouTube clips, GPS with Google Maps, browsing and some calls, then through the night (again, with push email switched on) and through the next day, only expiring that evening.

Its possible, but most will put their phones in cases thus eliminating the "cheap" feel

Argh, just spoken with T-Mobile, and they've offered me the Desire S for £22 a month, 18 month contract, 500 mins, unlimited texts, 500mb internet...what do I do!?!

Hmm dont let them fool you my friend lol...forget the DS its just a slightly updated Desire.

Just did some heavy calculations, looks like I will able to get this for a grand total of £460, which includes a £45 18 month contract with Voda.

Not yet but they have been replying to peoples forum requests not sure what they are offering them as no one ever says.
I reckon by at least Tuesday we should see something change on their web page. Poor showing from voda i must say.

Quick question, unless im missing something theres 4 versions of the GS2:
Tegra 16Gb
Tegra 32Gb
Normal 16Gb
Normal 32Gb

Yet rarely do phone sites actually list which version they are selling...?

Chances are it will be "normal" 16GB
