.Under recommendations from several forums i decided to try a bit of toothpaste to wear the scratch down.
Now the scratch is a tiny bit better but the glass no longer has that lovely smooth texture. Whoops! Oh well, it was nice while it lasted

Rumour mill here guys: someone posted that the update fixed "a bug related to automatic-brightness was addressed, Swype was made more responsive and some connectivity issues were fixed"

Cant you change the time out in settings or even press the lock button manually which may even be the power button?

"We promised we'd come back to you with the latest information and we've got some good news for Samsung Galaxy S 2 pre-order customers. The device passed the testing process on Friday and the handsets are winging their way to our warehouse now.
We'll start to dispatch them to pre-order customers from Wednesday this week, which means they should arrive within 2-4 working days of 18 May, subject to customers passing our credit check and our regular Ts & Cs for online orders"

I've just discovered a disappointing 'feature' of the SGSII - the alarm doesn't work if the device is powered off. Argh!
Have I missed an option somewhere?
I believe Android is like that fret not, put the phone in flight mode and the alarm will go off without you been woken by calls or message alerts. And yes my other phones I could turn them off and the alarm would still go off but like i said no biggie just put phone in flight mode and you should be good.
Question I was on an 18 month 1000 mins, 250 texts and unlimited land lines and unlimited Internet for £40.
I was told that the unlimited land line is really 3000 mins so I have opted to update my old 18 tariff to the new one which is 1000 mins and 3000 mins land lines with unlimited Internet = 750 MBs with 250 texts And free phone.
Is this ok or should I remain on the old tariff?
