****The Official Samsung Galaxy S II Thread***

Having issues here guys, my alarms are going off but there is no sound, this has happened for no reason i can think of as these alarms have been the same since i had the phone months ago. Also the alarm screen has lost the snooze end of the slider :/

Only thing thats changed in the last few days is updating siyah, but know one else has issues and can't see why the kernel would be the cause.

Any ideas?

Running Wanamlite now, seems OK so far. Thinking of reflashing the stock theme version and flashing ICS Domination over the top. Anyone done this?

Hi all. I got a S2 recently after long waiting on the S3 and not likng the design. One thing that is annoying me and I have yet to figure out is, why are incoming calls and texts showing up as +44 instead of the usual 07 at the start?

I am on ICS and everything is running fine. But because numbers are +44 at the beginning of the number, instead of that persons name coming up it shows the number of the person calling starting with +44. The numbers are stored as 07 at beginning of each number on my phone. I am sure there is a solution to this. The numbers are all on the sim card btw.

Thanks for any input guys.

Phone won't wake up, I'll have to pull the battery and this happens.

Running stock Samsung 4.0.3.

Mine does this every now and then too for some reason.

Sometimes, if it does it with about 90% battery, I'll turn it on again and it'll have 50% which then slowly climbs throughout the day so it looks like my phone is magically charging.

If it does it below 50% however, then I'll turn it on and it'll have say 16% left and just go down from there.

This is on hydrogen. Doesn't do it very often, but highly annoying when it does!

So far since the move to ICS battery life is better, it looks nicer, data signals seem to have improved. V.Happy with things so far.

The accidental wipe was a blessing in disguise as I've only installed apps I want and need, rather than filling it with carp I never bothered with.

I have had the odd app freeze though. Currently using Wanamlite 11.5.

Since putting Hydrogenics on my SII, Poweramp cannot see any of my music on my phone. All my music is on my external SD card, is there a fix or way around this?

I just bought a micro USB to female USB A cable. Got a couple of 8gb sandisk ultra USB sticks full of music and movies for when I travel :)
