***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

I never knew you two were going out - ahh how nice :p

tbh with the clearer pic of the wifi it actually looks better than the s3 pic.

According to the 'connected' guy who knows:

So the above pic is the closest to the final design, at least we have an idea of what the final design styling is gonna be like then :p

My thinking? Same design of casing, no front physical buttons, only ICS touch buttons on the screen itself!

Two optional launchers, ICS with Touchwiz overlay and Vanilla ICS. Option of picking which one to use at startup, and you can change any time.
4.7 inch screen HD and a ceramic back.

Quad core Exynos 4212 (Which I think is actually dual core CPU, but quad core GPU?)
Camera is a 12 Megapixel
2 GB of RAM
8 millimeters thick
2250 mAH battery

It's just not cool to post pictures without linking to sources!

And when the photo is actually a photo of a screenshot of a render?

/sweet edit, got a link?

The phone in Locke's picture does look rather good, if not a bit Note like in appearance. I guess that once phones go buttonless there is only so much you can do with the design :)

If that is true, why couldn't they give the GS 2 users this choice as well when it officially received ICS  :(

Because they can install ICS launcher from the Market anyway :p

Hmm, maybe I interpreted that point the wrong way :p :o

What I thought it might mean was that the touchwiz skinning throughout the UI, not just the launcher, but the colour scheme, calendar etc. would all be pure stock ICS android if you wanted, so in effect it could be described more as an option to disable touchwiz skin.

Touchwiz skin from the launcher right down to the colour scheme, calendar etc. is just sooooo god damn ugly and boring!

2gb of ram? Isn't that less than the S2 which has 16gb?

And anyone have a rough idea when it's coming out? April or May?
