Just got my S3 white from CPW Oxford st, Can anyone advise easiest way to backup everything from S2 to restore to S3 ?

e****r have 65 of the 16Gb blue models sim free for 524.85 inc VAT
really hacked of with vodafone now, it seems nearly everyone has them apart from the 'exclusive' carrier
 
Vodafone exclusive is for a month, so by the time they get stock it'll be up.

Vodafone are *really* trying my patience. I have an upgrade due and they will not quote a deal until they get stock. So everyone that pre-ordered and in fact anyone that puts in a back order now will be ahead of upgraders :( way to repay customer loyalty..

THey haven't changed their original quote of 2-4 weeks from launch for any blue phone.

ETA: Aaaand here we go, Apple attempting to get a US ban and claiming another patent infringement on S-Voice : http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/06/apple-calls-for-an-early-ban-on-samsung-galaxy-s-iii/

Walked into the 3 store and saw both the White and Pebble Blue side by side. Both look great buy I'm glad that I've so far resisted the temptation of getting the Marble White GS3.

I pre ordered the Pebble Blue version on the 4th May via Rainforest and am sticking to my initial order. Apparently most retailers ie CPW and Rainforest will have stock by the 19th. Not long now although I must admit the White does look better than expected.

Download smsbackup+, it will back up text messages and contacts to your google account, swap phones and then restore, works a treat. I used it when I upgraded my desire to gingerbread.

I put my order into Amazon on the 30th May and I've got a date of 20th-27th June at the moment

I have the 19th-27th June showing but am kind of hoping that if the likes of CPW are getting stock on the 19th, Rainforest will too and it falls into the timeframe Rainforest have given us for our pre orders!

I don't think that £25 above rrp for something which is in stock almost nowhere, and crazily in demand, constitutes "gouging". That is around 5% extra of the total cost SIM-FREE, and while certainly a cheeky little markup, is certainly not (imo) worth condemnation compared to what many others have done in the past when demand far exceeded supply!

Lol, i never condemned them. It is good business sense whilst they are rare. What isnt, is the trader on play that is trying to sell white ones for £650 odd when you can get them from the cpw quite easily for 499.
 
Can someone point me in the direction of a decent S III rooting site with loverly novice based stuff on it?

I ask as I had my Desire rooted with tons of custom stuff on it, was 10 times faster and better looking than the standard Desire :)
