***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Before I traipse off into town tomorrow...and succumb to the temptation....can anyone confirm they've got the S3 working with Sky Go (rooted or un-rooted)?

I've got it working spot on with my rooted ICS-based S2.... it'd be a bummer if I can't get the F1 this weekend as I'm in work when it's on :rolleyes:

Unrooted SIII here, got Sky Go working fine.
 
Just speaking to someone at Play.com... they basically read off the website. What is the point of that when customers can do the exact same thing.

I asked her to explain to me why on the 6th it was changed to the 6th, and she was stuck for words. She is currently trying to put me through to someone from Head Office.

They are useless !!!

I'm glad I didn't buy of them !

After the problems I had with my vita order, I will never use them for any electronic item !
 
Whoa, that's bad, any chance of a pic of the mark, if the Norwegian isn't hogging the lense:D

Aimee loves posing for photos, but have to watch out the other cats don't get jealous. :) It's such a small scuff mark it was difficult to photograph..if I had something better like Mrk's camera it might show better but I've only got a Nikon D40! All it's done is sit on a table so it's a delicate thing, like me. I don't seem to have this oil effect people are mentioning.

Apparently Samsung had told them they would get it on the 6th and then told them it was delayed again... everyone lies! :mad: :mad: :mad:

Mate like a few people on here have already stated Play are next to useless. Their customer services team dont have a clue what's going on..you might as well bang your head against a brick wall with them.

Blue SIII from Three Mobile

I've been reading this forum with interest since my Blue SIII was delayed from Three Mobile.

I thought I would let you know that I got a call last night stating that they were getting one Blue SIII in store today (7th June) and that it was mine. Also, @ThreeUK stated this morning that some pre-orders are being fulfilled today so looks very promising for those waiting for it from them.

I thought I would let you know that I got a call last night stating that they were getting one Blue SIII in store today (7th June) and that it was mine. Also, @ThreeUK stated this morning that some pre-orders are being fulfilled today so looks very promising for those waiting for it from them.

Well i rang 3 about my dodgy home button. The manager was like 'well we dont have any in stock now we might get some in tomorrow you can call then, or maybe next week'

Asked about him cancelling my contract so i could take out with the other 3 store in town that have them in stock and he said 3 wouldnt do that. Then said at the end 'when we get some in stock bring yours in and we can take a look at it'

Better not try n pawn me off with a repair or tell me that mine is fine. Literally unusable one handed as the home button just wont press in from the right half the time.

Don't let them palm you off with a repair insist on a replacement. Haven't you got a cooling off period where you can cancel anyway or isn't it a new contract?
 
Which ringtone are you guys using out of interest? They are all a bit delicate aren't they?! I was using Underwater World but now have Hysteria by Muse.

It is a new contract, signed for it on sunday. Already had phone replaced yesterday and this one has a bigger fault :|

When i was taking out contract i asked about a cooling off period and was told there wasnt one, and that soon as i walk out of the door with the contract thats me locked in?

I believe you have 7 days by law to return it... however, it's a bit of a legal minefield as some networks say you waive this right if you use the SIM card.

If you bought it in the shop itself it may be different too.
