I said it from the start that play was terrible for preorders, just go and look in the PC game section for getting games delivered on release day! :D :p


However, I don't see why the big fuss of getting items straight away (especially if you got them a good bit cheaper on somewhere else......) as opposed to a couple of days of waiting unless you actually need the phone now....

As you have all seen, hardly anyone has a blue GS 3 (the final version) and iirc originally shouldn't have had till the 13th June... Even mobile fun only had 4 in stock, which are now gone lol. So not exactly like one place is far better for stock than the other. For we all know the they could be getting a lot more stock in tomorrow.
 
I've just tried to transfer stuff to the 64GB SDXC card via my card reader which supposedly supports SDXC (although no mention of UHS-I support if that makes a difference) and the card doesn't show up in Windows. All other cards are fine but they're not SDXC.

I'll wait until tomorrow and do all transferring via the phone I think.

So true! We've given Mobilefun almost two grand between us but its worth it! They're a decent company and have come to our rescue. Like Danger Phoenix my order is being packed for despatch! Shame I'm at work until gone 10pm tomorrow but I'll still be catching up to read mrk & Danger Phoenix's comments.

All the overtime I've worked recently will fill the hole left buying the S3 in my bank account!
 
Ive always bought my sim free handsets from mobilefun, never ever had any issues with them.

Good decent company although their prices arent very competitive but id rather pay a bit extra knowing that im getting great customer service.
 
Yeah if I was paying £50 more, I would certainly expect them to be as quick as possible with the delivery! :p


They are exceptionally quick though as they sent me the case mate tough case to review and I received that within a day via royal mail first class and I live in N.I!!! (might be due to me dealing with a staff member pretty high up in the company though so :p)

Usually takes like 2+ days for anything else via another etailer to be delivered. Even OCUK don't deliver/dispatch as quick as that! :p


They are pretty pricey for most of their accessories though but the customer service is top class so in some ways it is worth the premium price over the other places.

Exactly I couldn't be bothered waiting for CPW and Rainforest anymore. It didn't help that today a colleague of mine was waving his white S3 around. I had phone envy!!

I'm at Westfield in Shepherds Bush and had a look in the pop up store. I asked about the Pebble Blue and no surprises it was sold out. The chap in the store said that both colours have been selling really well.
 
Turns out my Akasa "élite" card reader isn't evry elite and while it says it supports SDXC, it doesn't support UHS cards so I've ordered one of these - Kind of made it an excuse to upgrade reader anyway as I was planning on getting a USB3 one for my dslr CF cards.

The SDXC UHS 64GB card doesn't work in the S2 either, it doesn't even show up under Settings > Storage but at the same time shows not notification bar icon for an SD card error so it is recognised, just doesn't show up as a storage card.
