***The Official Samsung Galaxy S III Thread***

Ok im sure ive asked this before, but the issue keeps coming back for me, and its doing my head in lol

Does anyones S3 take like 8 hours to charge to 100%, i stuck it on charge at 10pm there abouts with 21% left, just woke up to find its only on 93% and still charging.
Settings and battery states AC, Elixir2 states AC and current 999ma going in, so in theory it should have been done by about 12-1am..Theres a few people dotted around that have the issue but im wondering if anyone here has had it and knows how to fix it.
Ive thought about changing the cable but im not sure that will change anything, and buying a new usb plug thing, but as it stats 999ma and AC, doesnt appear to be nothing wrong with mine.
 
KnightStalker, mine sometimes goes on charge at ~11pm and comes off charge ~7am but it's only made it to 56%!!!

But if I use my old charger from my i5700, it never ever fails to hit 100% :)

Grab one of those for a few quid and your problems will be over :) It's only 750mA not the 1A of the official S3 charger, but it doesn't have any problems charging mine :)

Didnt think of using one of those, i think my girlfriends parents have a galaxy ace/2, it should have one of those, ill have a word and see if it makes a difference.
 
My SGS3 went totally green today and like the only pixels there were working weer green, it was still responsive and worked fine but the green was hued green and was very poor quality.. happened to anyone here?

A restart fixed it and its only happened the once since owing it on release day.

Ok well an update for you all :)

Really enjoying it so far and a refreshing change from the iphone and ios. I've been googling loads to get answers but one thing I can't fix is all my emails seem to be to wide for the screen.

Anyone help with this?

If you use Gmail, go into settings and turn on Autofit.

If you're using the standard Email app, then you're stuffed :p
