Installed it on my wife's last night - don't notice a lot different however phone is a bit snappier and it seems to have fixed the random freezes she was having. My S3 is coming back to me today from Samsung after it had the sudden death thing and ill get it on there too after work.
Is it a carrier ROM, or plain, stock?
All i know is its stock. He has spoken about rooting it but I doubt it will change his mind
I've been having a lot of issues with my S3 recently.
For no reason the whole phone will just freeze up, and I have to remove the battery to get it working again. Must have been 5 or so times yesterday.
I'm going to flash crDroid from fresh and see if that makes a difference to anything.

Anyone know how to do a factory reset?
Applied some ROM update couple of hours ago to my phone, started seriously playing up and now I can't get it to do anything
Try and boot into recovery and all it states is 'downloading...do not turn off target'
This is after I hold 'power, home and left volume' then asks to hit up to continue.
Last time I left it 'downloading' for 20-30mins or so and nothing happened.
Getting a little scared now.
Anyone have any suggestions?

That sounds like you are pressing the volume button down instead of up.

54.03mb update downloading on mine just now..interesting.
Apparently we and other countires got MB1, in russia they got MB2 - still no idea what changes if any are present, cant find a damned thing - just lots people complaining its not smooth and that MR1/2 is better (never heard of MR1/2)

My Phone is literally freezing and powering itself off all time!
I have a feeling its Simpsons Tapped out thats causing it but if i uninstall will i lose my springfield?
Symptoms,
after going into sleep it must me just poering off completely at some stage
Can happen even without launching apps
Sometimes its off (or appears to be)
At the moment its just completely died on facebook.
IMage is there but none of the buttons light up and i have to pull the battery out to get anywhere!

Sounds much like imminent sudden death to me. I had this over Christmas.
