I'll wait for a while longer. Hoping the photosphere camera is in a release.

I've read on the CyanogenMod thread that CM aren't including it in any of their releases as it's Google proprietary, so I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung don't use it either.

Surely Google would license Samsung to be able to use it? Although I did read Samsung would make their own version of photosphere. Can't remember where I read it now.

If Samsung want to use it they'll use it, it's more likely that they'll make their own app or add it to their existing camera app though (IMO).

CM not using it isn't surprising, they aren't allowed to include GMail or the ability to sync Google accounts (GoogleServicesFramework.apk is one of the files in GApps.zip), that's why you have to flash the seperate GApps.zip after flashing CM/ParanoidAndroid etc .

Can someone recommend me a firmware for my s3 please, I want to try new things but not sure where to start. I've already rooted the phone via odin d used titanium backup to make a complete copy. Just about to install nandroid.

You have wanamlite, crdroid and omega roms. The first 2 are probably the main ones.

My S3 has been feeling really sluggish of late, so fancy trying a new ROM out. Only problem is, will online banking apps still work? (Nationwide). I vaguely recall reading they don't work on rooted phones?

You're in luck - I bought a few rooted phones to work today, will check for you.

Edit: Got as far as putting my customer number in (I don't bank with them) and it didn't moan to me. Couldn't get any further sorry.

Have to say Wanam v6.0 performing well so far although haven't done too much with the phone today

No FCs of note and things do feel smooth but it has been about 5 months since i did a full wipe

Battery performing well so far with no drain issues, will post screens when i need to charge
