The 'Official' Screenshot & Tips thread 4 FSX enthusiasts & flight simmers.

No I mean like the Racing seats, I have one of these from a friends company and I told them to think about a flight simulator as there are loads of people that would love the same sort of set up at home.

Indeed there's a few companies that make seats for flight sims. Thing is if you are going to go that route your as well building a home cockpit.

I've flown in 4 times with different settings and each time at the end of the 4 hours its died.......

Bloomin' heck - the PC would have been thrown out the window after the second flight if it were me.

You've inspired me to so a little round the 'worlder' - though a hop from London City to Jersey in a Grand Caravan, and then on to Paris is all I've managed so far. I'll switch planes for the longer journeys.....

Keep up the good work - looking forward to more screenshots!

I'm going around the world very slowly with a bunch of mates on another forum. At best we do one leg a week, usually only one a month, in GA aircraft so progress is slow. But then we stopped off at Lukla, try that in your NG ;) I'm doing the whole trip in the SF260.

Well Ive had to do some moving around, I have 2 OCZ 120 Gb SSD's, Win7 and WoW on the first and FSX on the other. However I've run out of space on the FSX SSD.......

So with the help of the Disk Management tools I've swapped the letters on the SSD and a 1Tb partition on one of the 2Gb hdd's and swapped the contents across and now I've got 900Gb free space for FSX.......

When I can afford it I think I'll splash out on a bigger SSD. Meantime I managed to get from Perth YPPH to Adelaide YPAD without incident. I've turned the Autogen density down a notch from max...... I'm now enroute from YPAD to Melbourne YMML. Here's hoping I don't get a ctd again.

As ever pictures to follow. I'll sort them all out in the cruise on the next trip. Thank god for Airborne Satellite Internet ;)

Bought FSX two weeks ago & have endded up spending far to much money on it already

Thanks to reading this thread from page one, got lots of tips from it.

Have not even learnt how to land yet let alone the basics of navigation, I just spend my time loading up airports & taking off so I can look at the scenery.
So no around the world trips for me yet.
