Oh wow, some locals have just gone right up to the capsule in their own boats!
I'm fairly certain that none of the SpaceX boats are sporting a Trump flag
Probably thinking they could give Doug and Bob a warm handshake welcome, maybe throw in a maskless cough or two. Stupid is as stupid does. The trump flag was unsurprising based on their actions.
Any word on the starship hop attempt later today?

Meh feels like we've gone backwards we were landing pods on parachutes in the 60's and 70's, then we moved to shuttles, now we're back to pods on parachutes 60 years later

There’s a limit to how many technical hurdles they want to deal with at once. That will be cool, but they should have gone with that first before crew, unmanned supplies to the ISS and unmanned engine braked landings, none of this 20th century parachute tech
It was all very reminiscent of the Apollo landings, granted. One minor difference, the astronauts then went straight to quarantine. Was half expecting to hear "Please remain in your seat until the vessel has come to a complete halt and remember that luggage may have shifted in flight so please be careful when accessing your carry on luggage."
