*** The Official Takeaway Voucher Code Thread ***

Not the best but £2.50 off £10 FoodHub spend with code NEWAPP250 - not sure on expiry date as didn't state in the email. I assume it's for new customers only but you know what to do ;) and possibly only works on the app and not the website.

My Foodhub only has one Chinese, but they are £4 delivery and quite expensive (each dish is ~50p more than the usual)
there's quite a few on Just Eat but they are all ~£20 min spend, £3 delivery and no option to collect

It's like that round here too, high delivery charge and high min order.

Same.

My top 'curry house' is an Indian that charges £7.80 for delivery.

Granted I'm surprised they even bother to deliver to where I live given the distance, it's a place I used to order from years ago but was always amazing. I'm guessing they're so confident in their food they give the option for far-afield. lol

There's a Lebanese place (on JE) about 20 miles away that will deliver to me for £8. Crazy. The food will be cold by time it gets here!

i won't order from places too far away, it's not fair on them as my usual order is ~£10 then use a voucher to make it cheaper still,
there's a couple of places that FH say are ~4-5mi away but a route search shows they are more like 7mi away so i ignore them

I've never tried ordering that far afield (despite my beloved curry place which is around 8m tbh), but I've been tempted. Do they do some sort of Driver-esque special delivery where it's straight from restaurant to door?

Some places just take the **** but I used to order from that Indian on the regular before moving to my current and they were spot on.

One day I might get drunk enough to pay the delivery. lol

I'd never order from them as I'm not the kind of person to spend £8 on delivery, although I have had a collection takeaway from them a few years ago when I was on the same road at a gig. Which was nice.

Fancy an Indian tonight and have a £10 gift card left on my Just Eat account but remembered why I'm not a big fan of them.

Menu for my local place is £1.50 more expensive for a set meal deal with 50p on top and the choice of dishes is worse. Not to mention if I order directly I get a 10% discount.

Loads of places seem to charge more on Just Eat even though it's against their terms but Just Eat turn a blind eye as it's more commission for them. They will refund the difference if you complain but they won't do anything about it with the restaurant.

Just tried to place an order using the Vouchercloud code on a new unused FoodHub account (registered last week) and it flashed up that my account is suspended. Order placed with a takeaway I've used loads of times who also offer 20% menu discount.

Strange thing is, the order still appears to have gone through and I've been charged!

Had a flyer through the letter box from UberEats with a £10 off £15 code for first time orders. I wonder if this will work if I set up a new UberEats account!

Okay well I also have a non referral code which I got in the post and cant use because I have an account set up already. Any takers for that one? :p (still 10 off 15 for UberEats I just dont get anything...) :(

Also I dont really understand the no referrals rule... Whats that all about? Does it put OcUK as a company in breach of some T's & C's?

This one I got through letterbox doesn't give me a referral discount. It's just a discount for new customers.

I heard that the restaurants get the funds back as Foodhub store credit to spend on Foodhub branded products like Pizza box's etc, see here --> https://shop.touch2success.com/our_menu.php

if that's true, and the restaurant doesn't use Foodhub branded stuff, then they may prefer you don't use a voucher code,
although they do have the option to refuse your order if they aren't happy about it...

The takeaways I've used, especially the one I order from loads with their 20% menu discount don't have any FoodHub branded stuff. All the places round here just use generic unbranded stuff.

I just set up a new FH account.. i had to varify my phone number, they sent a pin code to it,
not had that before...

could this spell the end for re-using first order only codes? :o

I've always had to verify my phone number with a SMS pin every time I've used a new account.

Found a new Chinese a couple of weeks ago and it's amazing, seriously the best I've had in years.

The portions are gigantic and generally they give a bunch of freebies when you spend over a certain amount, I'll be getting a free portion of mini spring rolls and a small portion of spare ribs along with the above.

They sometimes throw in a small bag of prawn crackers too but it seems to vary.

Bit gutted though as I forgot to add the Dim Sum! :(

My experience with places that offer freebies is you have to ask for them, for some reason they never automatically include them. The best is a local pizza shop that does 2 for 1 wraps on a Tuesday collection only from the shop, but when you order you have to specifically say you are wanting the 2 for 1 offer wise they will just charge you for both. Crazy!
