Well that didn't take long now did it? http://www.engadget.com/2011/06/07/ios-5-jailbroken/
I almost think that apple is starting to warm to the jailbreakers if existing exploits are going un-patched.
The thing is, the only reason I will jailbreak now is to get the teathering crack, everything else has been fixed by iOS 5.
It will be interesting to see if anything else gets added to iOS 5 by the time it's released in September. I guess that's when the new iPhone will be out also, and I'm sure the new iPhone will need software to support it's new features.
Apparently that LED flash uses the actual flash of the camera. However that's kinda pointless since most people leave the phone face up so you couldn't see it. Hmm.
Yeah my 3GS gets a new lease of life. I want a retina display though, but sod's law says if I get an iPhone 4 then the next one will come out shortly after.
What?! That would be plain stupid.
It is VERY useful and greatly adds to its function as a phone.
A notification LED? Being able to glance at your phone and know if you have a message/missed call is very useful. I can't think of anyone that wouldn't want it.

My friend is a has developer access, could I give him my UDID code and he can registrar my phone under his license?
Will this allow me access to the beta?
Thanks
Wow really? Awesomeloads of people on macrumours forum doing it so im guessing it does work. few people with developer accounts activating udid's
I can't see them not updating the iPhone, it brings in too much money to let it slip to the competition too much and they always get a massive boost in sales whenever a new version is released. I think they are just trying to get WWDC back to concentrating on software, so postponing the launch of the next iPhone is only logical as they released the CDMA version earlier on in the year to extend the life of the 4 a little bit longer in the US.
The next iPhone will probably be announced mid to late august to be released with the iOS 5 software update and iCloud release.
