Well after searching it seems the other threads have died off so time for a new one!
I am after a new phone, my faithful N80 is starting to give up and I am not going to fork out £40 for another repair for it only to break again at some point!
So I am left trying to decide what to go for, I am on PAYG at the moment but wouldn't mind moving to contract,
I have been set on an iPhone for so long but now the Palm Pre has raised its head, I realise it doesn't have a video camera, an easy fix with software update I'd guess, and the apps catalogue isn't bulging at the moment, but with it's easy development platform and the ability to multi task is forcing me to consider it, especially now that I have a BlackBerry work phone and am starting to love the QWERTY keboard!
So should I be considering anything else?
I've never really got on with the HTC phones, but am willing to try, I work in CPW stores so have access to most phones to try out for a while,
So any suggestions?
And has anyone got the Pre and is still loving it?

The Pre is ok - software is great, the hardware is just poor. I'd wait until Palm releases a new WebOS phone.

Have you seen the N900 yet? Seems like a good phone.

QWERTY handsets out before christmas worth looking at:

Nokia S60v3: E72, E75
Nokia S60v5: N97 Mini (maybe the N97 too)
Nokia Maemo 5: N900
HTC WinMo: Touch Pro 2
RIM: BB Bold 9700 (although there appear to be initial firmware issues)
