Considering getting a Titan Pascal is watercooling one that much of a boost?
Yes
It gives constant clockspeeds around 2100 on the core when overclocked on stock volts.

And how much of a boost ingame does that give over a clock of around 1950? Probably 2 or 3 fps at best. Barely worth the effort.
Its far more of a hassle setting up a water loop and finding a stable overclock, on occasion that can take hours for gains that aren't even noticeable in-game. Plus for the loop its also adding to the cost. People seem to be under the impression that 2100mhz is some kind of magical number, when in-fact in terms of in-game performance you're not going to see any difference over 1900 or thereabouts.
It may have a point for the 3d mark brigade but for actually playing games the difference is mainly negligible.
Define decent performance increase, id be surprised if it was more than 5-6fps tops.
When I used to overclock the performance bump generally wasn't worth the time put into getting it stable. You could be rock solid in one game and another randomly crashing out. Unless you go aio or a dedicated loop thers not all that much to be gained unless you want to be wearing ear muffs 24/7.
As for percentages, Why? Because percentages can look like bigger numbers until the actual fps difference is shown?
Hardware labs black ice nemesis 420gtx, 360gtx, 240gts. Total maximum radiator cooling power is 4800w!!!!!!!!
Ah! My total maximum radiator cooling power is 4200w. My reservoir is of the kind that sits ontop of the pump and only holds 150ml compared to your 'massive' 3 litres!!!
Its the hassle of watercooling.
ive tried it before and its a ball ache to install and maintain.
Yep same day if possible! Just fired it up on air to make sure it works, what a pain it is to drain a loop with 2 rads, cpu and 2 gpu blocks, taken hours
You can only purchase it direct from Nvidia.
More or less confirmation of the Titan XTi Pascal on the way then over the next month.
Mugs the lot of ye
Think they're just out of stock for the moment....or upgraded version coming.....dream on
Yeah, such comments best ignored. Personally don't have a lot of respect for people willing to make public feelings about someone they've not seen let alone even met. Best keep opinions to one self methinks. After all, it's easy for us to see such comments as jealousy too, without knowing the peeps making them .
