The perfect day of the year :)

Well, i don't know about the rest of you lot, but down here in Canterbury we are having what i class as a perfect day.

Clean Blue sky, sun shining, a slight chill, but more than comfortable with a coat, and when you breath you get the steam train effect. Anyone else enjoying the weather?

Was like that in Stafford the other day. Went for a nice walk enjoying the fact it wasn't dark and cloudy for the first time in ages. Light thin cloud in the sky today so not quite as nice today, but much better than what it is most of the time at the moment

Not bad by the coast now. Sun coming out. Sky is starting to clear. One big grey cloud though. Also, doesn't look windy for a change!

Couldn't care less what type of day it is, I'm stuck inside till 6-ish. If it starts raining and everyone that comes in complains about it, I'll admit that it puts a slight smile on my face.

Having just got in the door after being a dinner lady let me tell you that it is freezing in Lowestoft and it's about to pour with rain. Not my perfect day.

Bloody cold here today! -1c when I woke up, 0c when I left for Uni. Even the inside of my car had ice in

Sitting inside wrapped in a blanket now.

No.. it's far to cold at night. All week I've had to stand on a trailer in front of a case988(rail mounted digger) and stand there for 14+miles.. Almost 3 hours travelling time. Had 2xt-shirts, 2xfleeces and a wet weather coat on and was still ice cold to the bone..

Why do you have to stand on the trailer with the digger? I can't imagine it gets lonely, or it's afraid of the dark.

i suggest you eat more meat

You don't even need that many layers to go to antarctica. I bet you didn't tuck your shirts into your trousers. You would be surprised just how much tucking stuff into your trousers keeps you warm.

I need to lose weight not add it.. T-shirts are tucked it, wrest isn't really possible. It's the wind chill that does it..

I found a new level of decadence the other night. 2 x pairs of socks, Pair of pyjama trousers, 3rd pair of socks with pyjamas tucked into them, Baggy jeans on top.

cup of tea before you went out? It doesn't half help if you start with the inside of you warm.
