In the last one, I keep wanting to see the bend on the right, the source and the bottom left, maybe a slightly wider angle would have been better? Colour seems ok; how about a less yellow tone and crisper white?
Edit - it looks a lot better on FLickr - must be the white srurround.
Aye, first time since the use of the O-Flash ring adaptor for wide angle portrait have I found a more fitting use, macro with extension tubes is just right!
Managed to capture this little critter and decided to try getting something with him, I usually capture them then never get round to it as I know how hard it's going to be. So I had him in a small glass and put him in a small DIY light box and had no luck getting him, I looked on the internet for tutorials on sedating small spiders but again had no luck.
I was about to give up, got the glass ready and he JUMPED at me, this BEAST launched himself at my finger, scared the poo out of me, I dropped the glass out of shock and it rolled over the spider. I thought I killed him, but I must have knocked him uncoicncoisionces. I poked him and he wasn't moving, then he woke up and was walking really slowly. I manage to get him on a 5p and took some snaps. Was thinking of other ideas and when I looked back he had gone.
Yes, you always feel unnerved when you lose track of a spider, although one that small I'm not so sure, great pic nontheless!
Some website chose a photo of mine as their image of the day Not a big website but feels good, especially as I'm just starting that people are finding and appreciating some pics I'm taking!
Decided to shoot some birds this afternoon using just the 70-200mm and Mark II I had in the bag. Shame this thing is a pigeon. I think it could've been cool if it were an eagle. Far too impatient for this stuff though. Oh and 200mm is far too short for birds. (Obviously)
I quite enjoyed multi-tasking the F1 and bird photography
