Must be great to have had the opportunity to take photo's at the Olympics.
We couldn't make it but the sun finally put in an appearance on Saturday morning and so did these.

When it started to rain we took the kids to Butterfly & Insect World, and during the few minutes where they didn't need all of my attention we saw a few butterflies.

All with a 7D and Canon 60mm Macro

not been out for ages with the camera but my nephew and his pal are over from USA and wanted a few pictures of them skating.

Not many decent ones to choose from but quite liked this. Very average compared to most pictures on here!

I like the detail you've revealed in the second shot, and the colour/tones in the first!

Yeah, that was the main reason I like that effect in Lightroom. It revealed more than I thought was even in the pic which was nice and I quite like the colours. It looked a lot moodier in B&W but was a bit too dark and was almost just a silhouette
