I just fill the frame. I shot all my group shot's at 1.4 today.

I realised that the same reasons why focus recompose is so inaccurate for shorter focal lengths, also apply to group shot's.

It's not like the people on the ends begin to soften (more than lens just not being as sharp in corners), people in the ends are still pin sharp.

Wish I had spotted this glass at the time, gerrr...

That's it I'm looking massively forward to my 85 1.4.

Although the 50 should be good anyway on FF!

Should post my last group shot pic when I get home!
 
Lol,I remember a few times where other posters have picked you up on strong CA! :p

But yeh it is bad in this example, will be fixed for final hand edit's though, these are just raw output's from a batch action.
 
It's funny to me that you of all people - pixel peep and read into every detail of a lens performance post a photo like that that's all.

I would've thought you either:-

1 - return the lens
2 - fix it in software before posting it online.

No means I am saying we haven't all done it, I have !
