Yeah I was definately going to do the eyes, yeah I was afraid the dress looked a touch bright. I haven't even ported them into lightroom yet :D

Yeah would you pull it back with a bit of dodging or just try to recover highlights? The rest of the picture is fine, looking at my exif it was 200mm 1/125 with 0.7+ev. If I wasn't so rushed I could have dialled that back a bit. Hopefully I can recover it on the raw.

I'd try and recover the highlights personally before trying to do anything else to it mate. Should be quite easy to do in RAW though with most photo programs!

Took this earlier today at the Shrewsbury Steam Rally.

Well this won't win any awards and I really must learn to stop using my macro lens for everything lol :| but here is Mr Frog! Was posing for me in the garden when I popped to the garage. Our either didn't see it or just ignored it lol

A break from the norm yesterday as I went for a wander around Clarence Pier during sunset. I can't believe how much better it is having a 50mm on full frame. It's such a fine fl for walking around with, not too tight but not too wide either, just right. At this rate I can see myself longing for a 1.2!

Walking along the pier I spotted a couple fishing, this one was a bit more in your face so I requested permission and handed my card afterwards. I forgot I had the camera in ISO 1600, normally I'd slap myself silly for doing such a thing and the photo would not really be usable any more but I quickly snapped out of it as this is no longer an issue :P

f/4 @ ISO50 50mm, the resolving power of full frame is incredible. Click for 100%.
