Yup! Make sure you get 3mm thickness or above though (5+) as any thinner will flex to the point of snapping very easily.

Trying out the fake miniature feature on the HX20. Quite hard to get it angled right to actually make it look like miniature cars. Works best when you're high up and looking down.

Why does this work, is it the blurring or something? It works well but I can't figure out why. Is it a similar effect to a T&S lens as they can be used to make things look miniature also. These newly fangled cameras & lenses with their witchcraft functions confusing my senses.

Doesn't really work to me because the blur is obviously very fake (seems to be pure Gaussian).

It's the bumped up vibrancy mainly because it gives it that painted toy look which we associate with miniature models.
