The postman turned up today with my new toys...Am a very happy boy

Hi guys...

Yes I been spending all night building this system up only to find out that the motherboard has no IDE sockets and I only have IDE dvd drives ...

Am having to write this reply on my mobile phone :p

I had to get a new DVD drive when I got my rog motherboard. The IDE slots are a waste of mobo space now, but you can get a sata DVDRW drive for around £15 so its not a big deal.

Am having lots of trouble with trying get SLI to work....
I been spending hours on trying to get an SLI option to show up in the nvidia control panel and am having no luck with it...

Am really ranning out of idea's of what to try next to get the SLI working..:(

Think am going try putting in my two old GTX 275 cards next to see if the SLI option will show up in the nvidia control panel with them..

you got the sli bridge fitted?

Connect the cards with an SLI bridge, or buy a new one.

Just installed my two GTX 275 cards and the SLI is still not working...

So this problem has nothing to do with my new GTX 580's

I may try install w7 again (without SP1) and see if that makes any difference..
