The price of cinema tickets

I've been to the cinema twice this year, with the previous outing being back in the mid to late 2000s.

I saw Furiosa at a Cineworld, I think that cost £19 per ticket.
The other day, I saw Heretic at a much smaller, local cinema, and was gobsmacked when the cashier asked for only £9.00 for 2 tickets.
At first, I assumed she'd made an error, but no, that was the price. I certainly didn't try and stop her, though! :D

I think I've been about 6 times so far this year, off the top of my head and plan to go 1-2 more times before the end of the year.

All this talk of prices made me notice that Cinesa (Spanish brand name for Odeon/UCI/AMC) has a BF deal for €120 unlimited for the year instead of 150, so basically €10 a month. Semi impulse purchase ordered it. Looks like I'm gonna have to go a lot more over the next year to make my money back.. Will try to see Red One and Wicked over the next week or two, for starters.
