If by that you mean the constant crys of sporting integrity then I will only listen to those crys when players on the park start showing it and I mean all players.

For instance. Hey ref he never touched me it shouldn't be a penalty. Hey ref the ball actually did cross the line. Or we have a tour of Japan organized already so you can't extend the league (Copyright Peter "Sporting Integrity" Lawwell and actually have one organized in the first place.

Good point Mav. Everything is highlighted and exacerbated when Rangers are involved.

Every other team can cheat, dive, waste time, organise fictitious trips to Japan, call for postponement of games due to player deaths etc yet nly now sporting integrity has to take precedence over Rangers getting back on their feet. Isn`t it amusing how many tax experts and moral crusaders we have now?

Scotland is beyond obsessed with us.

And some say were not "Scottish Football":D

Metal Face mark says everyone will be fine without The Rangers.

So someone is talking ****.

Who`s your money on? :D

Did you actually take time to read the article or just the headline? The arab trust is calling on sky to confirm their position on the TV deal, they are not saying Rangers should be allowed back. The Utd fans are not happy with this statement at all on their forums.

Well lets assume the deal for sky is halved and they get 700k less with a further 300k from Rangers fans thats still 1 million a year to find when you are trying to service a debt that they had to sell off Goodwillie to help.

Also Neil doncaster talked a lot of sense last night.

Teams should have penalties for going into administration. Not on how they exit it either via CVA or Newco. Only in Scotland eh!!!!

Neil Doncaster is a total idiot and does not have a clue what he's talking about.

As chief executive of Norwich, he helped guide them from the premier league to division one when he quit. He peddled the 10 team SPL saying the clubs and fans wanted it (they didnt) and often states his opinion as fact when its not at all.

The man is a complete clown and is only worried about the bonus he receives.

Anyway, we have had Michael McDonald walk away from the Green consortium, so his 20 investors is now down to five. Good old David Leggat (mentalist that he is) is quoting an inside source that Green himself will eventually walk away leaving Rangers in the lurch.

To be fair the current rules only provide a 10 point penalty for the first administration offence (ie. Dundee). The fact that it's Rangers is making the system look like a joke since they'll be getting away with a huge debt plus possible other rule breaking.

The other punishments seem to be made up at the moment due to the SFA/SPL/club boards being found out as being incompetent and they're desperate to show the public they're doing something about it.

Actually if you read the full story re: McDonald you will see he was not funding the takeover of the club so makes little difference. He was going to fund new purchases but with the 12 month transfer embargo still in place that cant happen. you would also have read that he says he could well be back after the embargo goes to help fund new players.

Imo of late Leggat seems to have been hitting the bottle since his preffered (and many others) TBK didnt get the gig.

Yeah I read the full story, to me if I was a Rangers fan I would be worried about the prospect of people part owning players and taking profit on them, it is not a good business model for any club.

Your right about leggo though, poor guy seems deranged sometimes, he posted the whole Kenny Dalglish thing the other day that started as a joke on P&B.

He''ll only take a %age of any profit made. So he's hoping that a player bought will improve and make money thats a bit of a gamble though.

Also re leggat. Posts one minute Naismith is all for leaving then few days later changes his tune.

Craig Whyte has been caught doing 90mph in a 60 zone.
It seems logical that Rangers should be banned from registering any new vehicles for a 12 month period. We can still buy them just not drive them.

Celtic and Dundee United issue a joint statement calling for Ibrox to be shut down in the interests of Driving Integrity.

I think you would find the percentage he would take would be the profit, these guys are not in this to help Rangers out, they are in it to line their own pockets, they are not Rangers men.

There is undoubtedly money to be made from Rangers with this type of business model if Rangers have a good scouting network but Id want my club keeping all the money, not some guy who is bankrolling players although I suspect fans just want to see the best players play at their club and that is a way for that to happen again.

Thats a terrible analogy.

It wasnt Craig Whyte that did these things, it was Rangers, it might have been Whyte and David Murray making the mistakes but it was done under the guise of Rangers and thats why the club should be punished.

OMG It was a joke.

Got to remember the Football stadium (like the F1 threads) are serious business!

Should be a disclaimer from an internet police cat reminding everyone every time we enter these sections...

Plus the joke would be more funny if it compared that MP who tried to get his wife to take all the penalty points as that reflects Rangers attitude to who's fault and who's in the drivers seat of this mess ;)

Not quite Rangers in this case are the car. Whyte was the driver. I see what you mean but it doesnt really fit.

yeah the driver should get away with speeding and the car must be punished. :D

Yep - under UK law a company is a complete legal entity.

For all intents and purposes a company is a person in the eyes of the law.

In essence what people are proposing is that the club uses a defence of "He told me to do it"
