Anyone seen this before.

A guy on the cliosport site has just come back from doing the mongolian rally in a cheap 4x4 took them 4 weeks.

The rickshaw rally is 4500kms across the himilayas during monsoon season in a poxy rickshaw. Sounds some of the best fun you can have with a few mates :D

7hp @ 5000rpm get in lol :D

Why do they always organise this stuff over the Christmas period? The Plymouth - Dakar (or wherever :)) goes then as well. Let's face it, the one time of the year when you do not want to be away from your family and friends for several weeks is the Christmas/New Year period. Any other month and I'd definately be doing something.

jack osborne was on the chris moyles show this morning

they did the same rally in a fiat panda 750

seems the mongol rally is a really a competition as to who turns up the worst car !

I've always wanted to do the Mongol Rally, but I've never been able to either schive off for 4 weeks myself, or find a co-driver who can schive off work for 4 weeks.

Which is the one that you go through an unmarked minefield, think thats the mongolian one, twas on sky a while back with ppl doing it in cheap vans.
