Pestilence...i've sent over your key, I hope you like it.

I'm massively disillusioned with MMO's in general and this feels really fresh, loving it so far.
 
I would really appreciate a trial if anyone has one going spare, SWTOR sapped my love of MMOs away and TERA died when D3 came out so I'm bored to death :(
 
Hm well I'm up to savage coast now. The first dungeon (Polaris) went smoothly but I just could not heal inferno with QL3 rifle/blood combo. The whole group took tons of damage on the first boss and I had loads of LoS issues thanks to those pillar things :(

I have a couple of AE heals now though. Making a good healing build seems to take a lot of AP due to the number of outer-ring abilities needed. The high-tier rifle heals are powerful and the leech effects & passives act as nice HoTs but it relies on you building resources on an enemy. I hope it's viable once I've got the required abilities unlocked, I don't really want to switch to fist/blood.
 
Any leveling guides worth reading?

I've read that picking the right unlocks can make or break the game & would rather not start of by picking the wrong things :D
 
Also really unsure on this. Been looking for a MMORPG for ages that isnt just like all the rest (fantasy, dragons, kill with fire etc) and this looks like it might tick that, but the price......... They should offer a 14 day trial or something.

Your not going to get a 14 day trial with the game being out for only 1 week lol!

There are offering a 24 hr trial which is more than any other previous subscription game i can think of that is only 1 week old has offered so quickly, 24hrs playtime is enough time to know if this game is for you.

Funcom also offered 4 beta weekends for a few months to advertise this game to the public, anyone could have got a trial as several websites where giving away tons of beta keys, they gave the public plenty of time to test this game and decide.

wheres the 24 hour trial? cant seem to find it on their site

True, but previous posters have stated the beta was a lot different, and for some people £40 is a bit of a punt on a game they haven't tried. (I know you can get it cheaper from cdkey sites) Oh and didn't Funcom make AoC ? Reason enough to wait for a trial in my book !

Me too, I seem to have missed the whole development of this game and whilst it looks very interesting, I'm loath to put down 40 squid on a whim.
