The song that defines your youth

Actually I wasn't. I've always called it hardcore, I've played at clubs and it's just been called hardcore. I'm really not very good at subgenres tbh. I even got confused when looking for techno on Beatport and found nothing but 128bpm house music. Techno to me has always been 150-160bpm EDM

:)

hardcore was just the dance music of the late 80s and early 90s (altern8 etc). it then moved off into jungle, house, techno etc. happy hardcore came about many years later. i hate it if im honest. too fast and just feels like a bad record being played too fast ;)

the only people you see playing HH are the 17 year olds their pimped corsas ;) no offence but its kind of the joke genre of dance music.

techno also isnt that fast, not the original stuff like joey beltram (energy flash etc) it was much slower.

Simples - Its this.

I was 15 Years old & in what is now year 10 at secondary school, Mrs. Thach. had been in office just over a year, the press & the media were banging on about a Major Recession & there was a about 3 million on the dole (sound familiar?)

Oh, & some royal couple got married too. :p

The Sisters were pretty much my soundtrack through secondary school, First and Last and Always (released when i started), Floodland (released when i was taking my first exams) and then Vision Thing (released just before I left).
