Can anyone comment on cases for this phone? I'm after something low profile but actually protective, like the case mate tough case on my Z3

I'm using a Terrapin case, the clear version.

I dont even notice its there, I dont know how protective it is though, I havent dropped my phone with it yet.

Where do 4k video files live on this phone?

Took a few short videos on holiday (the 4k app overheats and shuts down after about 5 mins) but can't find them anywhere.

I can;t find them on the micro SD card and figures they might have recorded straight to ram, but nothing there either.

Any ideas?

*Edit*

Found the files, audio plays fine but no video is displaying, looks like the media player on w7 isn't picking it up.

Aren't you suppose to be limited to 4-5mins video anyway at 4k? It's to protect the device from overheating, same as on the RX100 IV

Other phones can handle 10mins - Galaxy S7.

does anybody here have the original sony SCR44 case for the Xperia compact?

I have read some reviews that the clear view window in the case presses onto the screen and causes marks.

anybody experience similar issues or anything other?

Z5c folks, my wife is still on the z1c and wants to upgrade to this. My only issue is that it is a fair few months old now and I was waiting on the z6c which is not going to happen! Is it still worth getting this for around 280 (giffgaff) or is there another phone this size with amazing specs?

Ok phone has arrived and looking to root it - anyone have experience with this? I did the whole developer options and *#*#7378423#*#* trick that tells me unlocking my bootloader is not allowed.
From my limited research it seems no way around this? That the case?

Not sure if it still happens but if your root the phone you will loose the camera quality.

Had this phone for 6 mths now and really like it. It lives in a cheap armadillo case so is quite thick but it's still very compact.

I like the fact it looks like a chunky little cheap phone whereas it's actually super duper

I'm having problems with my camera 8 months into ownership. In any app using the camera I get pink or green flashing colours, and photos look like this:

I got it from mobiles.co.uk, should I take it up with them?

First thing, do a complete system reset on your phone. If that doesn't work then yes take it up with mobiles.co.uk but they probably tell you to contact Sony directly.
