Anyone have a clue as to whether any of these cards with have 3 displayports? All the ones If seen just have 2 plus HDMI plus USB-C

Appreciate there are converters but it's not ideal for 2 monitors + VR

There's definitely an AIB one on the Sapphire site that swaps the USB-C for a third DP.

What exactly is the issue with not allowing reviews 24hrs before release? I've not read one valid reason yet.

Presumably the fact that people investing in bots and buying up stock to scalp will be less interested in doing so if the card might not be that high demand? The fact that if reviews show it to be really competitive it will encourage more people than normal to try to scalp them?

The problem is there’s going to be a known lack of stock so you essentially have to buy blind. It’s not unreasonable to have a good idea what you are dropping £600 odd in to.

Yes blind, essentially blind except we've all seen one, know the specs, know the performance AMD claim and unless we believe AMD bodged the benchmarks by like 30% we know that the performance is extremely likely to be very close to what they stated. So blind apart from general performance and most of the details? We just don't have endlessly repetitive benchmarks and multiple people repeating the same things. Do you genuinely believe reviews will paint a completely and utterly different picture to the launch or do you think it will be pretty much what they said.

Maybe reference design stock is so terrible AMD have decided to let AIB's launch same day so as to not look quite so bad?

The manufacturers who agreed to guarantee a certain number of reference cards were given extra chips for custom boards.

But even bribing the manufacturers to make them, the reference stock will be super low.

Give it a week and the custom boards should be substantially more.

I agree with this - the more rabid people get for somethign the more scalpers will bite at the chomp.
